چکیده
Wood flour is the most common filler used in production of wood plastic composite (WPC) materials. In scientific studies on this subject, flours obtained from different trees and fillers annual plants are used. addition, some mineral-based also materials made plastic. study, a low-density polyethylene polymer form granules recycling was as matrix. Larch glass by grinding soft drink bottles were fillers. Composite boards produced using 60% matrix, along with varying proportions. The density, flexural strength, modulus, tensile elongation at break, hardness values composites determined. Based data obtained, density increased addition fillers, density-increasing effect higher than that flour. Compared to control samples, it determined bending strength break experimental groups decreased, modulus samples

Some Properties of Composite Panels Made from Wood Flour and Recycled Polyethylene
This study investigated the effect of board type (unmodified vs. MAPE modified) on the surface quality and thickness swelling-water absorption properties of recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE) based wood plastic composites. Additionally, two commercially available coatings (cellulosic coating and polyurethane lacquer coating) were also applied to composite surfaces and their adhesion stre...
متن کاملCoextruded Polyethylene and Wood-Flour Composite: Effect of Shell Thickness, Wood Loading, and Core Quality
Coextruded recycled polyethylene and wood-flour composites with core–shell structure were manufactured using a pilot-scale coextrusion line. The influence of wood loadings and thickness of the shell layer and core quality on mechanical and water absorption properties of the composites were investigated. Core–shell structured profile can significantly improve flexural and impact strengths of com...
متن کاملWeathering Characteristics of Wood Plastic Composites Reinforced with Extracted or Delignified Wood Flour
This study investigated weathering performance of an HDPE wood plastic composite reinforced with extracted or delignified wood flour (WF). The wood flour was pre-extracted with three different solvents, toluene/ethanol (TE), acetone/water (AW), and hot water (HW), or sodium chlorite/acetic acid. The spectral properties of the composites before and after artificial weathering under accelerated c...
متن کاملPreliminary study of the physical and mechanical properties of soya stalk flour/high density polyethylene composite
The use of agriculture residues as filler in composites is increasing due to their strength, abundance and low cost. Soya stalks show promising renewable natural fiber. In polyethylene composites the physical and mechanical properties (flexural resistance, tensile, impacted absorbed energy, water uptake and thickness swelling) was examined at different composites. The results showed that, the m...
متن کاملComparative Study of Wood Flour Photodegradation of Two Wood Species Submitted to Artificial Weathering
In this work Eucalyptus grandis and Dipteryx odorata were submitted to photodegradation by ultraviolet radiation. The effect of ultraviolet radiation irradiation on the color change and chemical composition of each wood flour were evaluated. The samples were submitted to a total of 500h of artificial weathering using condensation stages and ultraviolet radiation B irradiation cycles. The change...
